Meet the Teacher

My name is Brianna DiDominic and I am so glad to help expand your interest in music. I have a strong background in music, both educationally and performance wise. I studied music performance at Edinboro university of Pennsylvania, focusing on vocals and piano. I then transferred to Slippery Rock University for a degree in music therapy with a minor in psychology. Main instrument focus being vocals, guitar, and piano. I worked in a clinical setting with children with many forms of disabilities, holding sessions to aid in physical and emotional enrichment through music under my clinical professor.

Prior to my college education I was always involved with music in school since kindergarten. I performed vocally through the school in the highest choir offered through grade school, as well as flute, clarinet, and percussionist in band. I toured multiple years with CLO Pittsburgh Choir in my elementary years where I sang with the last living member of the VonTrap Family, was invited to tour with them overseas to Australia two years in a row. I competed in PMEA (Pennsylvania Music Education Association) competitions through high school receiving 11 medals for placements above 3rd place, and made it to States, as well as musical productions such as “HONK” and “The Sound of Music” in high school. My greatest achievement personally was competing for American idol back in 2011 when production was in Pittsburgh, PA.

Over the past 2 years, my goal has been to enrich individuals with knowledge of music, inspire that dreams do in fact happen with dedication and hard work, and always remember to sing and play to the beat of your own song.

Now that you know some of my personal and professional history with music, I truly am excited to get to know you and help them blossom your knowledge in music!

Thank you so much!

Mrs. D
